Coming standard with preprogrammed 40 UHF CB frequencies, what's more if you're a commerical user with a radio frequency license, the VX2200 is capable of running at 25 watts of power and Philtronics can program features in the radio, such as CTCSS/5 tone encode & decode and DCS. This unit covers a frequency range of 450-520Mhz and is fully programmable by Philtronics with up to 128 channels. |
The VX426 Vertex hand held radio is again based and constructed as a commerical radio, rather than a "price based" CB radio. This no-nonense design offers high performance and reliability making it the ideal choice for both commerical and CB users. The VX426 Vertex hand held is constructed in a diecast aluminium chassis with highly durable plastics, making the VX426 vertex purpose built and tested to perform in the most robust and challenging of work or race enviroments. The vertex hand held unit has a dust and water resistant rating to IP54 and durability to military standard 810 D/E/F. This radio likes its in-car brother above is also fully programmable by Philtronics to cater for up to 168 channels. The unit is preprogrammed with 40 UHF CB channel. Long talk times up to 13.5 hours from the standard battery and up to 15 hours with the optional lithium-ion battery. A desktop rapid charger is also included with the Vertex VX426 radio.
